"Explorations into Microtonal Tuning" is the recurring subtitle for a series of microtonal rock albums by the Australian psychedelic band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, starting with Flying Microtonal Banana. The project features custom-fretted instruments tuned to play quarter-tones and non-standard intervals.
