Gallus

“Gallus means bravado” according to Gun. A fitting title for their second triumphant album. Originally released on 30 March 1992 and becoming a number 14 hit in the UK, Gallus was the high flying second album from Glasgow hard rockers Gun. The front cover features Benny Lynch, the undefeated flyweight champion boxer and the first Scotsman to win a world boxing title, known throughout Scotland for his tenacity. Gun’s affinity with Lynch is detailed in the new sleevenote interview with the band’s Giuliano and Dante Gizzi, written by Joel McIver and included in an 8 page booklet with restored archive photos and single covers.
