Five Years Of Iptamenos Discos

Five years, 77 artists and countless interstellar transmissions: Iptamenos Discos celebrates its fifth anniversary with a new compilation charting the label’s journey from disco to dark wave and beyond.

Founded in Berlin by DJ and producer duo Local Suicide in 2021, the label has grown from a creative outlet for their own music into an international platform for forward-thinking electronic sounds. This anniversary set brings together defining tracks from its first five years, presented as a 20-track CD in a gatefold sleeve or a 10-track LP.

Spanning Synth Wave, Dark Disco, Italo Disco, Electroclash, Indie Dance, EBM, Post-Punk and Leftfield Pop, it reflects the label’s broad identity and cosmic outlook, combining influences from the electronic underground of the 1980s and 2000s with modern production and genre-defying collaborations.
