Dialoge

Dialoge is an album built on encounter, spontaneity and the meeting of musical worlds. Pianist Johanna Summer brings together composed works from the classical repertoire and immediate improvisation in a series of musical conversations with four remarkable artists: Claire Huangci, Danae Dörken, Kit Armstrong and Igor Levit. Each guest performs a piece of their choice, to which Summer responds in the moment with an improvised continuation at a second grand piano. In this unique exchange, classical works become the starting point for new musical paths, blurring the boundaries between interpretation and improvisation and creating a vibrant dialogue between tradition and invention. The result is an album of musical encounters where listening, spontaneity and dialogue take centre stage.
