Blue Beat Hits

Released 7th August 2026 and available via The Orchard, this collection celebrates one of the true pioneers of Jamaican music. Prince Buster's releases on the legendary Blue Beat label helped define the sound of ska, with "Blue Beat" becoming synonymous with the genre – a legacy that continues today.

The album features some of his biggest Blue Beat hits, including "Al Capone", "One Step Beyond" (later made famous by Madness), "Rough Rider" (famously covered by The Beat), "Enjoy It (Enjoy Yourself)" and "It's Later Than You Think". All tracks have been remastered from the original Blue Beat releases and are presented in the label's iconic Blue Beat packaging.
