Black Black Minds
The Travellers’ Black Black Minds is an obscure roots reggae classic from 1977, a four-part harmony vocal album from an under-recorded Jamaican group. The record is one of the earliest productions of Lloyd “Prince Jammy” James, who would become “King Jammy” within a decade. The album was made at roughly the same time as his debut LP from Black Uhuru.
Crucial rhythms supplied by The Aggrovators & The High Time Band. Recorded at King Tubby's. Expertly produced by Prince Jammy. Includes the three rare and sought after singles 'Jah Gave Us This World' Keep On Trying and 'Black Black Minds'.
This remastered edition of the album features liner notes and the original cover art.
