Besides… (Vol. 1)

Not since 1982 has there been a collection of XTC’s singles available on LP. Now, for the first time on vinyl in over 40 years and newly transferred from the original master tapes, Besides… (Vol. 1) will be released as the first of 3 volumes of XTC B-side singles on 200-gram vinyl as a limited Record Store Day First for Black Friday 2026.

Each volume will be released to complement 3 volumes of (general release) A-side singles collection LPs by Ape House over the next 12-18 months. Andy Partridge says:   "Why", thought I, as a rabid teen record collector, "do many of my favourite bands, favourite tracks, seem to live on the B-sides?"  They still do, and in that tradition, let XTC demonstrate the fact.
